Which Cosmetic Dentistry Procedure is Right For Me?
- On your initial consultation in our clinic, your dentist will examine the condition of your teeth and gums. Professional cleaning or other treatments will be recommended if needed.
- Once your teeth are cleaned and any gum/teeth problems are addressed, X-rays and photographs will be taken by your orthodontist to evaluate your teeth structure properly. If there is tight spacing in between your teeth, spacers may be placed to prepare for braces.
- Your orthodontist will be cleaning and drying your teeth before attaching the brackets, or the small metal devices that hold the archwires on your teeth.
- To attach the brackets, a small amount of non-toxic adhesive is placed on each tooth and cured by blue light to set it. The brackets will then be placed on each of the teeth.
- During your initial consultation, your teeth and gums will be assessed by your orthodontist. If there are existing tooth or gum problems, professional cleaning and certain treatments need to be done first before proceeding with the braces.
- Once the necessary treatments are done, your orthodontist will take X-rays and photographs of your teeth to plan the treatment. Spacers may also be placed to prepare the teeth for braces. The whole treatment plan and its cost will be discussed with you by your orthodontist.
