Wear The Smile That Perfectly Suits You

Invisalign are invisible/transparent braces for straightening your teeth. Unlike traditional metal braces, these are the new modern way to rearrange crooked misaligned teeth.

Invisible Lingual Braces

Invisible lingual braces help you smile confidently during and after treatment. With invisible lingual braces, you don’t need to wait for the braces to come off so you can give your new smile to people around you.

Invisible or incognito lingual braces work behind the scene because they are hidden inconspicuously on the backside of the teeth and are practically invisible when you smile. Invisible lingual braces are 100% customized without making you self-conscious about your face and braces.

Benefits of invisible lingual braces

–           Invisible braces fit on the back of the teeth and are hard to notice.

–           Unlike traditional braces, they do not leave white spots on the front of the teeth.

–           They are low profile; follow the contour of your teeth providing maximum comfort and minimum interference in speech. Unlike the removable aligners, invisible braces are always in and always functioning without the constant worry of removing them during eating and drinking.

–           Invisible braces are 100% customized according to the shape of the teeth. The custom brackets and wires work together to straighten your teeth with minimum discomfort.

Who can wear invisible lingual braces?

Most patients who can be treated with traditional braces can also be treated with invisible lingual braces regardless of their age. Ask your orthodontist about invisible braces today!

Jaw Joint Disorders

Jaw joint disorder is a type of temporomandibular disorder (TMD). It causes pain in your jaw joint and in the muscles that control jaw movement. A temporomandibular joint is the most complex muscle in your body. It is made up of bones, muscles and a small piece of cartilage.

A temporomandibular joint is a sliding hinge connecting the jaw to the temporal bones of the skull that are in front of the ears. It function is to facilitate jaw movements (up, down, side by side and back to front) helping you to chew, bite and talk.

Jaw pain can be due to genetics, arthritics or jaw injury. But the exact causes for the pain are difficult to determine.

When to see a dentist?

You must seek medical attention as soon you start feeling pain or tenderness in your jaw. Your dentist can discuss and look for the causes of the jaw joint disorder and suggest possible treatment. He might suggest you over-the-counter medications, advise possible changes to your diet, which might include eating soft foods, physical therapy or massage to loosen up your jaw.

 Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry is an innovative and precise way to perform dental care for gum surgery, cavity treatment, or oral issues and other dental procedures. It is a minimally invasive option and has a huge potential to improve dental procedures.

A laser is an instrument that produces a narrow, intense beam of light energy. Medical professionals use these focused beams to remove or shape tissues in highly specific areas without damaging surrounding tissues. On contact with tissue, it causes a reaction. Laser has proved to be an effective tool to increase efficiency, cost, comfort, ease and shorter time spans of dental procedures. Laser dentistry is best suited for children who are frightened of dental work done on them.

Lasers used in dentistry

Dentists use lasers in a variety of procedures depending on the tissue type.

What happens during laser surgery?

Laser surgeries are similar to other dentistry surgeries. You walk into the dentist’s office like an ordinary dental visit. The dentist gives you a small amount of anaesthesia, lies you back on the chair with your mouth propped open while he works his way inside. You might feel some vibrations or small discomfort from the laser but that is normal and the feeling goes away quickly.

Are dental lasers safe?

Dental lasers are as safe as any other dental instrument. Just make sure your dentist is a trained practitioner. German Dental Center has the best dentists with years of laser education and training.
